13 Shells of Christmas

Traditions (like in old german books) depict Odin from Germanic/Norse mythology as the ”Yule Father“ (Jólnir) and significant influence on the Santa Claus figure, sharing traits like a long white beard, leading a winter sky procession (the Wild Hunt), riding a horse (Sleipnir), bringing gifts during Yule (midwinter), wearing a blue rope before Coca Cola made it red.

Murex, Elvish, oil, nushell, es and ngs. I’ve heard the best parts of them do get adopted by Ion?

Xonsh, PowerShell, fishzsh and bash. I wouldn’t be surprised the Linux Foundation will come up with something new or MICROS~1 soon defaults to PowerShell in their Linux instances.

Yes, we should use ble.sh and go back to pure BASH v5 – or maybe Hashicorp comes along and tries to invent a new ops command language/interactive interpreter?

Or should I use nsh?! It’s like fish but wants to be POSIX compatible. Is there new beloved shell rising aside of bash and zsh (and yes, fish)?
