13 Shells of Christmas
Murex, Elvish, oil, nushell, es and ngs. I’ve heard the best parts of them do get adopted by Ion?
Xonsh, PowerShell, fish … zsh and bash. I wouldn’t be surprised the Linux Foundation will come up with something new or MICROS~1 soon defaults to PowerShell in their Linux instances.
Yes, we should use ble.sh and go back to pure BASH v5 – or maybe Hashicorp comes along and tries to invent a new ops command language/interactive interpreter?
Or should I use nsh?! It’s like fish but wants to be POSIX compatible. Is there new beloved shell rising aside of bash and zsh (and yes, fish)?
